Our scholarship program provides financial support to high profile students who have a high potential and sense of social responsibility but lack of economic resources to continue their high school studies
Fundacion EPA could provide up to 100% of the school “colegiaturas”, tuition/enrollment fees etc. during the last 3 years of upper high school. It could also cover expenses such as books and school supplies, uniforms, transportation, etc.*
Each candidate’s case is individually analyzed and the type of support is decided by Fundacion Epa.
Students to start the last 3 years in upper High School with ages between 14 to 19 years. Have financial need to cover educational expenses and with sense of social responsibility, excellence in grades, good health, and free of addictions.
"To maintain a GPA of 9.0 or higher in each semester
Perform 80 hours of volunteer work per semester in one of the allied civil associations we have.
Attend individual and group support sessions managed by Fundación EPA.
Complete the scholarship renewal process at the end of each semester.
Our Selection Process consists of four stages:
1. Submission of Application: Apply by filling out the online form and attach in a single PDF file your birth certificate and official transcripts from each year of high school. If you meet the general requirements, you will receive an email with the information to take the entrance exams.
2. Psychometric Evaluation: You will receive a notification in the email you provided on your application with instructions to take the tests. The candidates with the highest scores will move on to the next stage.
3. Interview: If your evaluation scores are among the highest, you will receive an email with information for an individual and family interview with the selection team from Fundación EPA. The purpose of this interview is to get to know the applicant and their responsible guardian better and clarify information about the selection process.
4. Socioeconomic Evaluation: If you have reached this stage, the social work team will contact your guardian to schedule a home visit. It is necessary to cover 50% ($350) of the study prior to the visit, and Fundación EPA will cover the remaining 50%.
Remember that to remain in the selection process, you must submit your acceptance letter by the deadline indicated in the call for applications. The estimated date of announcement of the winners will be informed during the interview.
Important: Unjustified absence from any of the aforementioned evaluations will result in automatic disqualification. In order to get a scholarship from Fundación EPA you must comply with the following:
Being 16 years old or less befor enrolling in the scholarship program
Have a GPA minimun of 8.5 in each year of middle school
Not having enough financial resources to study at a private institution
Applying for the scholarship to start from the first semester of high school
Having been admitted to one of the institutions of your choice within the timeframe indicated in the call.
